
Our Mission is to assist young adolescents, grades six through eighth, who have been expelled ,from Jefferson's public school system to learn appropriate academic and behavioral skills, enabling them to return as functioning, responsible participants to the public middle and high schools.

Kewanne Nolan, Amasia Conway and Eduardo Valdez were the recipients of the BRINGING UP GRADES AWARD. This award is given by the KENNER NORTH KIWANIS to students who improve in at least one subject on their report card without dropping in any subjects. Kenner North Kiwanis provided the students with both a certificate and a gift card.Picture with the students is Kenner North Kiwanis member, Ira Snyder. Ira is also a mentor at the school. |

ROBOT TECHNOLOGY COMES TO JCS
Thanks to a QSM Science Grant awarded to teacher Randall Roussell, JCS students will be learning how to build and program robots in science class. This is a welcome addition to our already strong technology initiatives. |
