IS ONLY RELEVANT TO PRINCIPALS AND TEACHERS IN GRADES 4-8, IF YOU ARE OUTSIDE OF
THESE GRADES PLEASE DISREGARD THIS EMAIL
REMINDER EMAIL:
The Curriculum Verification and Results (CVR) reporting
portal will open up on Monday, April 18, 2011, for principals and
teachers to verify/make changes to class rosters. The deadline for making roster
changes for teachers is May 6, 2011, and for principals it is May 13,
2011.
Important Reminders: 1. The portal is a
self-registration portal. To access the portal go to:
https://leads4.doe.louisiana.gov/cvr/
If it is your first visit to the portal, please review the
appropriate section of the User Guide for your User Group and then register.
Please write your login information down somewhere that you can refer to it (but
please keep it confidential) as neither the State Department of Education nor
the helpdesk (LDOECVR@la.gov)
has access to your personal login information.
2. Only teachers instructing students in grades
4-8, in core content(s) (ELA, Reading, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies),
will have data to verify on the CVR.
3. Please send all correspondence (questions,
inquiries, comments) to the helpdesk at
LDOECVR@la.gov. A helpdesk
team will be working to promptly answer emails. At the end of the User Guide is
a list of frequently asked questions where you may find answers to some of your
questions. If your question is not listed on the list, please feel free to email
the helpdesk.
4. An important change made for this year’s roster
verification process is that each district has at least one District CVR Data
Manager who is local and can assist you with this process.
5. Verification of rosters is still a voluntary
task, but highly recommended, especially given that next year (2011-2012) this
process will be mandatory in order to fulfill the requirements outlined in Act
54.
6. Principals, please disseminate this information
to your teachers.
